SharePoint-2016-Business-Intelligence This 3-day course explores the services and features in SharePoint that support Business Intelligence (BI) scenarios. Participants will learn how to configure and use various BI tools available within SharePoint to create effective and interactive data-driven solutions.

Audience Profile

This course is intended for information workers and business intelligence analysts with at least three months of experience using SharePoint sites, lists, and libraries. Basic web navigation skills are also required.

Outcomes

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Configure SharePoint sites for Business Intelligence

  • Configure and use Excel Services in SharePoint.

  • Configure and use Visio Services in SharePoint

  • Configure and use the PowerPivot add-on for SharePoint.

  • Configure and use Power View in SharePoint

  • Configure and use the Reporting Services add-on for SharePoint

  • Configure and use PerformancePoint Services in SharePoint

  • Understand the basics of Power BI and how it integrates with SharePoint

Prerequisites

  • Basic knowledge of SharePoint navigation and functionality

  • Basic understanding of data modelling is helpful but not required
